Do you have the business savvy, technical background, and global sales leadership skills necessary to help position AWS as the cloud provider of choice for SAP and Oracle workloads? AWS is seeking a Specialized GTM Lead in Korea to help us maintain our leadership position as the preferred cloud for SAP and Oracle workloads.

AWS and SAP have been collaborating since SAP became a customer in 2008. Together, we have certified AWS to support most SAP solutions, brought purpose built EC2 instances to market to support SAP customer needs, and helped SAP leverage AWS services to power a number of their SaaS and PaaS offerings like Concur, SuccessFactors (for government agencies), HANA Enterprise Cloud (HEC), and Business Technology Platform (BTP). AWS has been supporting SAP workloads for customers longer than any other cloud provider (since 2011), has more customers (5,000+ across all segments) than any other cloud provider, is certified to support the largest public cloud (native) and SAP RISE deployments.

You will be responsible for the ERP sales motion in Korea, which includes; identifying ERP customers & opportunities, qualifying & building pipeline, driving ERP on AWS discussions with customers, and responsibility for the overall sales cycle. By establishing and growing business and technical relationships, and managing the day-to-day interactions with these stakeholders, you will be responsible for driving top line revenue growth and overall end customer adoption.

You'll possess a business background that enables you to engage at the CXO level, experience with ERP, knowledge of SAP specific infrastructure solutions that will help drive the ERP on AWS ecosystem, as well as a sales background that enables you to easily interact with enterprise customers, partners, and the AWS field teams. You'll also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, and the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions.

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience

  • 7+ years of professional or military experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience as a founder or executive focused on related segments, or as a practice leader or business unit owner

  • Experience selling to Fortune 1000 or Global 2000 organizations
