2bFocused Inc. is seeking a Program Analyst to join our team. This role will be responsible for the development of program management and reporting processes. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong work ethic, analytical skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- Analyzes and evaluates quantitative/qualitative data to support the successful implementation and understanding of EDA's RLF program.
- Engages in independent and supervised projects on program management improvement and analysis to identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns related to public lending programs.
- With input and guidance from higher-level staff, responds to research inquiries from the internal and external stakeholders, including those focused on EDA's role funding economic development lending through the RLF program.
- Assists in and conducts independently relevant research pertaining to economic development, program evaluation, and economics.
- Supports management of internal and/or external projects, initiatives, policies, processes, procedures, and systems related to the EDA programs, as appropriate, including the review of applications and project oversight and implementation.
- Acknowledges customer inquiries and apprises customers of the status of inquiries and when to expect a resolution. Identifies customer needs and clarifying issues in communications with customers.
- Maintains paper and electronic records to document the analysis and evaluation of federal grant applications in accordance with EDA and DOC Operational Guidance. With the support and guidance from higher-level staff, identifies and resolves application issues, if necessary. Recommends changes to program policy and procedures, when appropriate.
- Assists higher-level staff in the successful implementation of various programs and initiatives to support national economic development and innovation initiatives.
- Supports other activities as required.
- Bachelor of Science or Arts degree in public policy, finance, economics, or related field.
- Experience managing financial data and conducting analysis with evidence-based public sector investments data.
- Experience working independently to learn, adapt, and promote use of technological tools while navigating competing priorities.
- Successful track record in customer service and project management with attention to detail.
- Experience working with public policy, public finance, program evaluation, or data governance.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Prior government experience a plus.
