Quality Assurance Analyst – AGILE
IS Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst is responsible for supporting the high-quality delivery of systems that enable our client’s 17,000 branch offices to deeply serve our clients. QA partners with associates across the firm at various levels are responsible for defining testing strategies and comprehensive test plans as well as managing the execution of those plans, including the defect cycle.
Our client is looking for an innovative QA Agile Testing Analyst experienced in developing manual and automated testing solutions to join our organization. Successful candidates are expected to have strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of what it takes to ensure Quality testing practices within an Agile team project environment.
Be an embedded member of a cross-functional Agile team testing REST/SOAP services, web-based and native mobile client applications, specific responsibilities include:
Manage execution of automated tests through a distributed execution framework and software delivery pipeline
Create, document, maintain automated tests to ensure Acceptance Criteria is met.
Define test data sets for newly automated test scenarios/cases using Selenium
Investigate, reproduce, log and escalate reported defects
Assist in the development of processes for effective monitoring and reporting of automation test cycle results.
Be a key knowledge resource for test automation, train and support other team members as appropriate.
Communicate and support all project-related information in a timely and professional manner as dictated by team needs and testing processes
Assist in the research and development of more predictive and intelligent testing approaches based on automation and innovative testing products and solutions
Partner and assist QA Agile Test Automation Analysts with creating and implementing automated testing solutions
Must have aptitude and eagerness to learn new technologies and a wide range of business processes and product functions. Deep understanding in test planning (including test data management) and test execution in complex application landscape as well as testing with external parties
Must have strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC and agile frameworks, specifically Kanban and Scrum.
Knowledge of Test Driven Development (TDD), Behavior Driven Development (BDD), or Exploratory Testing strategies
Prefer Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field
Prefer 3-5 years of proven experience as a QA manual and automation tester.
Strong knowledge and extensive experience in various types of testing (Unit, Integration, API, Smoke, System, Browser compatibility, etc.) is required
Detailed oriented test plan and test case writing skills
Experience testing Web-based applications.
Experience testing Mobile Native applications.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to find creative solutions.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver high-quality work on tight schedules. Proactive, self-motivated and independent.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
