St Peters, MO

Job Description:

The Administrative Assistant will provide office support in the areas of reporting, purchasing of supplies (Non-consumables and not raw materials) for various departments such as maintenance, engineering, quality, etc., review & enter purchase orders, and perform general administration tasks as required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Purchasing

• Review and enter purchase orders

• Issue purchase orders with vendors per buyers’ requisitions

• Issue RFQ’s and follow-up on bidding process

• File of purchasing documentation

• Enter Purchase orders into the PO log

• Communicate special requirements for shipping to our facility

• Enter and file receipts of purchase orders (timely closing of POs)

Reporting

• Enter daily production reporting for all finished goods on schedule

• Review all production reporting for accuracy

• Issue “R” numbers for raw materials

• Update department MOEs and take corrective action as necessary

Skills:

Microsoft office, purchase order, Administrative support

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required, Associate’s degree a plus

• Min. 1 year relevant experience in purchasing, inventory control, receiving

• Good interpersonal and communication skills, ability to respond to common inquiries from customers, vendors, internal departments, etc.

• Attention to detail, ability to work with large amounts of data in an accurate and timely manner

• Ability to work as a team member as well as independently

• Computer skills, able to use MS Word, MS Excel, Internet
