Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5 years of experience in program or project management.

  • Experience with Manufacturing Operations or Technical Supply Chain Planning.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Engineering.

  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

  • Experience in hardware product supply chain delivery through the entire life-cycle.

  • Experience with Supply Chain Operations, with excellent analytical skills.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

The Product Manufacturing and Build Management team is part of the Cloud Supply Chain and Operations group at Google. The team is responsible for managing sustaining product manufacturing, product qualifications, and material management to support build planning and order attainment at Google’s partners.

As A Program Manager, you will focus on optimizing sustaining product delivery, operations, and cost for the machines deployed in Google's Data Centers. In this role, you will work cross-functionally across the supply chain organization and work with the New Product Introduction (NPI) team, Commodity and Material Management team, Planning team, and Finance team.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $139,000-$207,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Enable and optimize products on time delivery by managing material, capacity, and product specific levers.

  • Establish total product landed/execution costs and define reduction opportunities.

  • Drive mitigation efforts to minimize liability of excess and obsolete inventory caused by demand reductions, platform transitions, and product moves.

  • Define and evaluate product opportunities across the global network.

  • Create product strategies for sustaining products that improve delivery, cost, inventory, and flexibility.
