Must have the following to apply:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 7+ years MS SQL Server Administration experience required
- Performance Tuning and Optimization, using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools
- Experience with backups, restores and recovery models
- Expert level t-SQL tuning
- Experience with SSIS and monitoring
- Experience with all supported versions of SQL Server
- Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server
- Experience working with Windows server including Windows Clustering
- Ability to organize and plan work independently
- Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
- Ability to multitask and context-switch between different activities and teams
- Experience or working knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) with both VMs and DBaaS
- Developing and Maintaining SSRSPower BI Reports

**Job Description: The company is seeking a Senior Database Administrator for its Tampa office.
Senior Database Administrator will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical SQL Server systems to ensure the availability and consistent performance of our corporate applications. This is a hands-on position requiring technical skills as well as interpersonal and communication skills
Duties and Responsibility:**
The development and sustainment of SQL Server environments (DEV, QA, UAT and PROD), ensuring its operational readiness (security, health, and performance), performance tuning and support of small in-house development teams and 3rd party vendor products. The environments support an enterprise application suite of OLTP and OLAP solutions. The individual must be capable of working independently and collaboratively with the ability to understand complex data solutions and schema. Experience with all supported versions of SQL Server is required
Manage SQL Server databases through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production systems
Configure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure performance, availability, and security
Assist with design and implementation of a data loading tool to move sanitized data from production to a non-production environment
Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end
Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes
Assist developers with complex query tuning refinement
Participate in an on-call rotation to provide 24x7 support for critical production systems
Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours
