The Process Factory is looking for a Process Mining Senior Consultant that is ready to contribute hands-on to the HP's Future Ready strategy. If you have a lot of experience in process mapping and analysis, in LEAN - waste identification and reduction through process mining, are not afraid to learn new technologies and are a hands-on delivery type of person, then we want to hear from you!

This role and will work closely with Process and Automation experts to drive value through projects associated with process re-design and automation. More specifically you will understand, design and code process mining use case end-to-end, to provide visibility for various HP teams into their processes. You will also provide support and maintenance to the use cases and views needed to run such process mining projects.

This is highly-dynamic and exciting role at the center of critical efforts to continuously evolve the company - a trusted go-to resource for Process Mining, who understands programming, data structures and HP processes, gets things done and works effectively across all levels of the organization.

The role requires a resourceful approach to work with process subject matter experts and key stakeholders and a poised, tenacious approach to breaking down siloes. It is a hands-on role, diving deep to understand the current situation and processes in the business and thinking big to find blockers and issues.

The standard expectations

Responsibilities:

  • Build, maintain and interpret all the process mining analyses and dashboards for the agreed use cases.

  • Manage and coordinate initiatives involving multiple functions and project teams to drive process mining investigations for a product or service offerings.

  • Consult with business leaders to identify relevant internal, client and external processes for analysis through process mining; identify trends and issues, perform root-cause analysis, develop recommendations for resolution and track effectiveness of remedies.

  • Determine underlying processes, systems and data for the project in scope.

  • Develop and direct development of schedules, critical deliverables, budget, resource allocation plan, and other support requirements for process mining initiatives.

  • Collaborate with technical and non-technical business stakeholders to understand the best ways to design the process mining data extractions and analyses.

  • Work closely with process owners and SMEs to generate the analytics that serve as a single source of truth for business performance measurement as well as data-driven decision making.

  • Collaborate with IT system experts to ensure the IT systems are set up correctly to gather all relevant information and support the most effective data structures.

  • Assist with implementation of solutions to deliver benefits.

  • Manage activities of supporting project teams and internal partners, as well as 3rd party partners/contingent workers; ensures progress against established plan and takes decisions based on examination of business information to alter or update schedule and resource allocation to meet product requirements and timelines.

  • Communicate initiative progress, escalations, and issue root-cause to stakeholders; collaborate with management and internal development, manufacturing and service delivery partners to implement changes to resolve escalated issues and produce solutions.

  • Drive innovation and integration of new technologies and quality initiatives into projects and activities in the organization.

  • Review and evaluates plans and guidelines for compliance with process improvement guidelines and standards;

  • Provide guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members to set an example of process mining innovation and excellence.

  • Other related activities as determined by the various projects needs.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Sciences, Quality Management, Business Management, Engineering, or equivalent.

  • Typically 10+ years experience.

  • Extensive experience with Signavio Process Intelligence required.

  • Experience writing code (Java, C, C++, C#, VB.Net, etc.) and SQL statements.

  • Familiar with SAP structure & tables.

  • Familiar with AWS and other cloud data environments.

  • Experience in SQL DB setup, support and management.

  • Experience with visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, QlikView, etc.)

  • Agile methodology training and/or experience preferred.

Education and Experience preferred:

  • Experience with other Signavio tools (Process Manager, Insights).

  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or other Quality certification.

  • Knowledge of the HP's processes would be an advantage.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding the people, processes and data structures across a broad range of processes.

  • Proven track record of leading cross company process mining projects including in global, cross-functional initiatives.

  • Experience designing and developing data collection and investigation tools and software packages to gather, integrate and analyze data from multiple sources.

  • Demonstrated business acumen, understanding of organizational strategy, and successful experience managing all aspects of cross- business unit initiatives, including communicating with internal and external stakeholders and directing matrixed teams and resources.

  • Ability to develop new technologies, processes and practices for utilizing process mining software.

  • Highly developed collaboration, conflict resolution and relationship building skills.

  • Ability to apply good judgement, discretion and sensitivity when engaging core team members and stakeholders across the organization on programs that may not yet be broadly communicate

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation and influence skills, and group facilitation, with mastery in English.

  • Experience with various team collaboration and program management tools, such as Visio, Zoom, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Service Now and SmartSheet.

  • High degree of flexibility and the ability to work within a fluid, constantly changing environment.

  • Hands-on get-things-done attitude.
