Description: Project Manager

The Project Manager will support large capital projects for a chemical manufacturing facility including process start-up, new equipment install, and other key engineering projects for the plant. The responsibilities of this role are best broken down in 5 categories:

• PROJECT MANAGEMENT:

• Manage and/or participate in capital projects.

• Ensure projects are clearly defined and accurately managed for on-time, on budget delivery.

• Develop project scope, objectives, and timelines.

• Coordinate project activities and communicate progress to stakeholders.

• Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring financial accountability.

• ENGINEERING AND CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT

• Perform process and mechanical engineering tasks.

• Oversee construction management activities.

• Ensure technical specifications are met and quality standards are maintained for the manufactured chemical products

• RESOURCE PLANNING AND MANAGEMENT

• Organize and plan resources for projects and technical support.

• Manage external engineering resources, as appropriate, per project.

• Optimize resource allocation to maximize project efficiency and effectiveness.

• SAFETY AND CONTINUAL IMPROVEMENT

• Actively support building a safe and continual improvement culture.

• Participate in EHSQ programs, including safety training, incident reporting, and safety walks.

• adherence to compliance and policy requirements

• Ensure conformity to company policies and procedures.

• Adhere to site health, safety, security, and environmental regulations.

• PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPEMENT AND COLLABORATION:

• Support the Toledo Site's development along the firms overseas standards

• Achieve Project Manager GTI objectives agreed annually.

• Perform/support other duties and responsibilities as assigned bymanagement.

• Support other employees as necessary in a team effort.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

MUST HAVES:

1. Bachelors degree in mechanical, process, chemical or I&E Engineering Correct.

2. 5 years minimum experience in a chemical manufacturing plant, refinery, plastics or food and beverage manufacturing environment

3. 5 years of experience as a project engineer, or project manager process engineer, mechanical engineer, chemical engineer

4. MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE LEADING ENGINEERING PROJECTS for a minimum of 3 years

5. Experience with MS Office applications including Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word, PPT, etc.

6. demonstrated hands on mechanical aptitude

NICE TO HAVES:

1. Experience in a chemical manufacturing environment

2. SAP experience

3. Root Cause Investigation Experience
