The role of Senior Consultant in the Process capability group is an important role, to join and build out this new capability in the London business. Our aim is to be a market leader, different to other market offerings in this space. Here at North Highland, we combine deeply embedded expertise and techniques in process improvement, coupled with North Highland’s human centric approach. Exciting work you will do:

  • Using process design and improvement and effective project management skills to plan and lead work streams with small teams

  • Manage own activities and work with team members to deliver desired business outcomes

  • Focus on quality completion of deliverables

  • Work directly with clients as a visible and engaged member of the team

  • Establish positive relationships with clients and peers that build credibility, foster your support network, and empower career development

  • Work with prestigious clients primarily located in the London area with some travel required

  • Nurture your personal interests with our training programme, which can be applied to professional activities and personal growth projects

  • Give back to your community through impactful local projects

You will need:

  • 4+ years of management consulting, advisory, professional services, industry, and/or Big 4 consulting experience

  • Qualifications and/or experience in recognised frameworks including Lean, Six Sigma and Agile; with the willingness and flex to deliver the best solution to our clients

  • Experience in process design, process improvement and show us how you have driven quantifiable and tangible benefits from client engagements in your career so far

  • Demonstrated responsibility and experience in Process focused client engagements within assignments such as Operational Excellence work, Systems replacement and implementation, offshoring, establishing centres of excellence and building business readiness for RPA.

  • Experience in Supply chain and / or experience with Robotic Processing Automation (RPA) would be advantageous

  • The ability to travel to fulfil client requirements and project needs, and for personal development

  • An entrepreneurial mindset, including an excellent ability to uncover new opportunities for account growth and impact

  • An ability to authentically establish credibility, build consensus, and activate collaboration with clients and teammates

  • A demonstrated track record of successfully working on consulting engagements, including roles that involved interfacing with senior-level clients

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills with professional staff, senior level executives and the community at large

  • Creative ingenuity and a proven ability to find or design simple solutions to complex challenges

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university. A master’s degree and/or professional certifications are bonuses
