Process & Business Analysis As a member of North Highland’s Process team, you’ll work with clients to identify operational objectives, existing gaps, and optimization opportunities. Using operational excellence, Lean-Agile, and cutting-edge automation methods, you’ll be a key player in helping clients cost effectively address business process challenges and unlock the value of their existing platforms. Through a human-centered approach, our team effectively matches capabilities to client needs, improving the efficiency of core business processes and enabling scale and sustained value.

Our Business/Security Analysts work side-by-side with client teams to serve as the bridge between technology and the business. On a day to day basis this means talking to lots of people at the client site to ensure that projects are running smoothly and deliver real benefits.

Exciting work you will do:

  • Elicit, review, define and document business requirements

  • Develop business cases and feasibility studies

  • Conduct assessments to compare and contrast available solutions in the marketplace, and develop recommendations

  • Ability to prioritize requirements

  • Document the ‘as-is’ process using process flows and other tools

  • Document the ‘to be’ business processes using business process re-engineering tools

  • Analyze data and develop reports

  • Assist with User Acceptance Testing

  • Support project management activities (status reporting, risk and issue mitigation, etc.)

What you will need:

  • Enterprise level implementation experience, ability to manage multiple initiatives, familiarity in security frameworks, Bachelors or Masters in a technical field (computer science, engineering, etc), PMP certification, Information Security certifications in CISSP, CISM or CEH preferred but not required.

  • Proven experience in a Business/Security Analyst role and in business analysis methods/techniques

  • 6+ years experience

  • Excellent communication/interpersonal skills

  • Stakeholder management experience

  • Strong requirements management experience (process) and proficient in the use of requirements gathering tools

  • Strong analytical skills, including ability to analyze data

  • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to manage and document functional/non-functional requirements, test plans, test scripts, and reports

  • High level awareness of a variety of IT software development methods

  • Experience of the Business Analyst role across all stages of the project lifecycle

  • Bachelor’s degree or BCS/IIBA BA qualification

  • Experience and understanding of mission-based environment a plus

  • Solid IT Business Analysis experience with large scale projects

  • Must show clear examples of deliverables. No ambiguity,

  • IT security experience preferred

  • Comfortable with waterfall/agile methodology. Agile is preferred.

  • Ability to work in a tough environment with critical deadlines for deliverables

  • Able to work in a role that expands across the enterprise
