Aston Carter Administrative Assistant in York, Pennsylvania

Description:

  • Assist in all aspects of the sales order process and invoicing, and maintain customer master data.

  • Fax and email mill certificates, MSDS sheets, letters of certifications.

  • Reconcile freight bills, gather credit reports and credit references, maintain tax exemption and resale certificates, and resolve customer billing issues and questions.

  • General office duties such as scanning, handling mail, answering telephone, and maintaining both hard and electronic files.

  • Receive and monitor terminal inventories.

  • Review and save competitive pricing reports and customer data forms into electronic files.

  • Enter customer orders and Bills of Lading into SAP, track used and unused BOLs for all Terminals in SE, and enter fuel surcharges in SAP and customer contracts

  • Oversee various billing/sales error reports in SAP, assist sales staff with collection activities by tracking the Aging Report, and provide freight and fuel surcharge rates and pricing information to sales staff.

  • Enter new customer information; price changes, maintain freight conditions, etc.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Administrative experience within manufacturing/industrial

  • SAP experience

  • Order processing, Bills of Lading, inventory lists, or other related experience
